WFR Wholesale Fire & Rescue Ltd. and FireRein Inc. are pleased to announce that they have entered into a Collaborative Development and Commercialization agreement to mobilize municipal and industrial deployment platforms for FireRein’s products in Western Canada.

Eco-Gel™ is the only firefighting water additive certified by UL and the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) to be 100% bio-based. Through this partnership, WFR will provide market research and feedback by presenting FireRein’s Eco-Gel™ and other FireRein products to municipal fire departments and industrial sites in order to secure alpha customers in Western Canada.

Eco-Gel™ is a proprietary (patent pending) water additive that is instantly transformed into a highly effective firefighting hydrogel when introduced into a water stream at concentrations ranging from 2 to 5% by volume. It overcomes the performance and environmental limitations of standard firefighting foams by producing a novel firefighting hydrogel that:
knocks down Class A and B fires
clings to vertical and horizontal surfaces
