Designed for aircraft fires
BIOEX ECOPOL A3+ MIL-SPEC Synthetic Fluorine-Free Foam
concentrate (SFFF) offers High Extinguishing performance! Certified
MIL-PRF-32725 by DOD. ECOPOL A3+ MILSPEC is superior quality synthetic Fluorine-Free Foam (SFFF) concentrate for aircraft fire protection (class B hydrocarbon fires) meets Military specification MIL-PRF-32725 5 (QPL list).
2002: BIOEX were convinced of the harmfulness of fluorine derivatives and were already working to preserve our environment by launching ECOPOL, the first fluorine-free multi-purpose foam concentrate.
2017: BIOEX worked on a non-fluorinated foam for quick fire extinguishing of aircraft fires (hydrocarbon fires).
2020: After long and extensive research, BIOEX launched the new ECOPOL A+ formula. A fluorine-free foam enriched
with polysaccharide and alkylethersulfate, offering a more stable and
effective foam on a wider variety of hydrocarbon fires (aviation fire risks).
ECOPOL A3+ MILSPEC: THE NEW ADDITION TO THE BIOEX RANGE YOU’LL BE HEARING ALL ABOUT!
2024: BIOEX is once again proving its capability to innovate and offer high-efficiency products by launching the cutting-edge ECOPOL A3+ MILSPEC foam concentrate!
U.S. airport authorities and other government agencies are obligated to use MIL-SPEC qualified products! With the new regulation, the transition to fluorine-free foam is required for foam concentrate.
Features
- Efficient against aviation fire risks (such as fuel spills, landing gear fire, engine fire, fuselage fire, aircraft hangar fire)
- It has high performances on hydrocarbon fires such as diesel, kerosene, JET A, JET A1 and Gasoline
-
Provides high extinguishing performance like fire control, fast extinguishment combined with excellent burnback resistance
-
The foam forms a foam blanket which spreads quickly above the fuel to seal the spill surface and cuts off oxygen supply, suppresses fuel vapors and prevents reignition.
-
Sticks on vertical surfaces as plane body and fuselage to
create thermal insulation which allows immediate protection and
passengers evacuation. The foam blanket has long drainage time.
- Its liquid formulation is compatible and easily proportioned by all conventional firefighting foam equipment
- Can be used at 3% on hydrocarbon fires
-
Compatible with aircraft fire truck, airport crash truck, fixed foam systems and mobile emergency response equipment, aspirating and non-aspirating discharge devices…
-
Environmentally-friendly fire fighting foam: biodegradable, totally fluorine-free and silicone/siloxane-free.
-
Completely free of fluorine derivatives (PFOS, no PFAS
intentionally added, 6:2 FTS…) recognized as Persistent in the
environment, Bio accumulable and Toxic for living organism
-
ECOPOL A3+ MILSPEC also meets airport fire safety policy on minimizing environmental impact
-
MIL-SPEC certified: MIL-PRF-32725
- 10 year warranty.
Uses
- Usable at Low and Medium Expansion
- Performance tested according to MIL-PRF-3275 with fresh water.
- Usable with sea or brackish water
- Efficient on hydrocarbon fires such as diesel, kerosene JET A, JET A1, gasoline, etc.
